So Arjun Kapoor's 30th birthday bash was quite the party. Everyone from Ranveer Singh to Karan Johar to Jacqueline Fernandez showed up. The usually reticent Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif even smiled for the photographers and Arjun was in super-high spirits throughout the night.
However, one person was missing from the guest list. Sonakshi Sinha! This, when she was very much in town.
What caught everyone's notice further was that Amit Sharma, who directed Arjun and Sona in Tevar, was an active part of the celebrations. But the leading lady was MIA.
Soon, the chatter in the party was about the missing ex-girlfriend. You see, the two had started dating during Tevar. But their relationship was ill-fated as the film itself. In fact, Arjun was so traumatised that he had switched off his mobile phone and taken off to Goa on a motorcycle to cope up with the split. Recently, we told you how the two tried to give it another shot (Arjun-Sonakshi fail to rekindle passion, June 17).
An eye-witness told SpotboyE.com, "When a friend asked Arjun why Sona wasn't there, his face fell. He just said that he doesn't want to dwell on the past. Both of them (Arjun and Sona) have moved on."
Guess it's officially curtains down on the Arjun-Sona love story.
And from the look of things, a certain Ms. Fernandez is already doing a good job of mending Arjun's broken heart. Ahem!
